THE FIELD VERSION
What we can actually verify
Our current public Field Station catalog has one verified Northeast destination: Gunnison Beach at Sandy Hook, New Jersey. New York and Pennsylvania pages focus on current public-land rules so readers do not confuse historical or informal use with present authorization.

The National Park Service identifies Gunnison Beach as clothing optional and separately explains the signed traditional-use area at South Gunnison.
Open field station →How to plan this region
The Northeast is exactly why the site uses verification labels. A beach can have decades of naturist history and still have a different rule today. Start with the land manager, then check local ordinances and the latest park conditions.
Nine Northeast Private Outposts are now verified.
Public beach rules and private club admission are intentionally kept separate. The private directory now covers NY, NJ, PA, CT, MA, RI and NH.
