How to plan this region

Rooster Rock is a strong example of how a public-land agency can reduce ambiguity: Oregon State Parks explicitly lists a separated clothing-optional beach and says the clothing-optional and clothing-required areas are not visible from one another.

The Columbia River changes the practical experience. Oregon State Parks warns that fluctuating river levels can limit foot access to the clothing-optional beach, so “verified” never means “conditions guaranteed.”

Other Oregon sites have naturist histories and community use, but this guide keeps them out of the verified public layer until we have a current, directly responsible source that is strong enough for the label.
