Start with the Liberation Map

Our Liberation Map lists public Field Stations whose clothing-optional status has been checked against a government or land-manager source. The separate Private Outposts directory covers clubs, resorts, and campgrounds whose access rules come from the venue itself.

Why a random map pin is not enough

A beach can be famous online for nude use and still have outdated rules. A resort can change from day visitors to members-only. A road can close. An informal swimming hole can be on land where nudity is not permitted. Good trip planning needs a source date, not just coordinates.

Search by region and state

Our United States guide links into regional and state pages. Current coverage is strongest in the Northeast plus selected public destinations in Florida, Texas, and Oregon, and we are expanding the directory through editorial research and community Scout reports.

Public beach or private resort?

Public beaches are often cheaper and lower-commitment for a first visit. Private resorts can offer pools, camping, cabins, showers, organized activities, and clearer on-site rules. Use the environment that fits the trip you actually want.

Use freshness as a filter

On Rebel Naturists, Scout data is dated. A recent visitor report can tell you that parking changed, signage moved, access is closed, or a rule is being enforced differently. We do not turn one report into a trend; community patterns only appear after enough approved reports agree.

If your area is blank

A blank map does not mean nobody has ever gone nude nearby. It means we do not yet have a place we are comfortable presenting as verified. You can submit a location or update, ideally with an official source or a photograph of current signage.

Quick questions

How do I find the closest nude beach?

Open the Liberation Map and regional guides, then verify the current land-manager rules before traveling.

Why are some famous nude beaches missing?

We would rather leave a gap than present an old rumor as current permission. Places are added as their status can be responsibly verified.

Do you list private resorts too?

Yes. Private Outposts are listed separately so readers can tell the difference between public-land status and private-property access rules.
