WHAT IS VERIFIED

The official-source version

St. Lucie County says the Board of County Commissioners officially designated Blind Creek Beach as clothing optional on June 2, 2020. The county welcomes both clothed and unclothed visitors in the designated area.

Before you go

  • Stay within posted clothing-optional boundaries and cover up before leaving the beach area.
  • County etiquette guidance specifically asks visitors not to photograph people without permission.
  • The beach is part of sensitive dune and sea-turtle habitat; obey closures and marked nest protections.
  • Access and facilities are evolving as the county develops the park, so check current conditions before visiting.

Rebel field note

Blind Creek fits the Rebel Naturists model especially well: public access, explicit official recognition, clear etiquette, and a strong stewardship story instead of a party-first identity.
